Benguela Cove Extra Virgin Olive Oil derives its distinctive character from the estate’s terroir. Situated in Walker Bay, the summers are warm rather than hot and the winters cool rather than very cold. The maritime winds and above average rainfall add to the character of this region’s olives and wines.
Green, spicy, fruity and subtle. The olive oil contains notes of freshly-mown grass, the fruity bitterness of olive leaves, the tangy flavour of artichokes and the full-bodied flavour of sun-ripened tomato.
A pleasing bouquet that is fruity, spicy and pleasantly bitter. The bitterness is characteristic of the best extra virgin olive oils.

Enjoy the benefits of Benguela Cove’s Extra Virgin Olive Oil when cooking. Use it in salad dressings, when baking, grilling, stir-frying or in place of butter.
